My special Uncle Phil

I know you were my Uncle, so loving and so kind, I got to know you in a different way and you opened up my mind. Never did you criticize, or condemn the way I felt, you wrapped your arms around me until I began to melt. I've mellowed now I'm older and I owe this all to you, so here's my final chance to say goodbye to you. You loved me, you cherished me and always had the time and in return you understood that you were truly mine. I've locked you in my heart for good, no longer will you be ill, so proud I am of who you were, my specialUncle Phil.
