I sat beside your bedside, not knowing what to do, I held your hand and kissed your face and told you how much I loved you.

Through tears I saw you sinking, I watched you fade away, although my heart was breaking, I knew you could not stay.

It broke my heart to lose you, but now you are not in pain, you'll never be forgotten, until we meet again.
