We sat beside your chair and held your hand so tight, you battled on so bravely putting up a fight. We touched your face with tenderness and gave you all our love, waiting for a miracle as we prayed to God above.

Did you feel us kiss your face, did you hear us cry, did you hear our hearts break as we said our last goodbye?

Have you ever lost a Dad that meant the world to you, the one you loved with all your heart and miss him like we do? If you have never had this feeling then pray you never do, for when God takes the Dad you loved He takes a part of you.

If there is another life and we are born once more, we pray that God will give us back the Dad we had before.

See you soon Dad, we know we will one day.
