Passed away peacefully on February 6, 2010 aged 70 years, of Stourbridge.

Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, February 18, at Stourbridge Crematorium at 4.10pm.

Family flowers only, donations if desired for Kidney Researchor Diabetes UK c/o J. VERNON KENDRICK, Funeral Directors, Vernon House, Cemetery Road, Lye.

No mourning clothes please.

God looked around His garden and He found an empty place, then He looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face, He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.

He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered 'peace be thine'.It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

Grandad

How could we find a verse to sum you up, Grandad, no poets words can capture the love for us you had, you were fun and warm and gentle, you kissed our tears away, you clowned around and stopped our frowns, our love grew more each day.

You'll always be beside us, to be there as we grow, but will miss you so much Grandad, why did you have to go?.
